Johns Island update day 4:
Today was a blast! We began the morning with ice cream for breakfast (not the healthiest, but that’s ok sometimes), followed by another early start to work at our sites. We are making lots of progress! Students have gotten the chance to repair roofs, replace toilets, lay tile, build stairs, and more. After breaking for lunch, we took a break from work for the afternoon and visited the Angel Tree and Camp Saint Christopher. After the mandatory group photo at the Angel Tree, we headed to the beach for some spike ball and sun. We had pizza and fresh watermelon overlooking the water and watching a storm roll in. Tonight we are in for an early night as everyone is pretty tired from working and from the sun. We are excited for tomorrow since we are making serious progress on our sites.
